Network your home PC and Mac > Part I - Getting your PC to "act" like a MacSummary Hopefully, this short "how-to" has convinced you that it is not difficult to network Macs and PCs. There simply is no reason not to if you have both platforms in your home. Clearly, the key to putting your PC on a Mac network is the great functionality contained in Miramar Systems' PC MACLAN. We think this is a great product. It delivers on all the function it promises. It was easy to install and functioned without any major hiccups. We'll reserve (and you should, too) judgment on whether this is the best solution for PC to Mac networking in your home until we complete the review of Thursby's Dave product. Keep in mind that the two products are not really direct competitors. MACLAN works on the PC and Dave works on the Mac. Your choice may be driven by how many of each machine you have in your home network or may be driven by the ins and outs you'll read in our how-to's and reviews. For more on Dave, read Part II of our PC to Mac or go directly to the Thursby Systems web site.
